I love waiting for that opportune moment to click the shutter, and am not only captivated by what I see, but also drawn to the story behind the image.
As a Portrait Photographer, my wish is to capture the essence and beauty of my subject, and to always hold close to my heart the trust that one has in my ability to make them feel at ease and share with me who they are. The images we take today will be shared with our loved ones. Printed images will be passed down through generations, and are one of the greatest gifts we will give to ourselves and to our family.
As a Fine Art Photographer, my hope is that you feel inspired as you view the fine art images, seascapes and landscapes. That you wonder for a moment what it would be like to “be there”, and that you leave with an appreciation of the beauty that surrounds you every day.
In addition to working with my clients, I am a volunteer photographer for the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE), photographing children awaiting adoption in Massachusetts for the Heart Gallery.
Most of the children have been waiting at least one year to find a family to call their own, and include school-aged children, sibling groups, children of color, and those with emotional, intellectual, and physical difficulties.
The goal of the Heart Gallery is to raise awareness about adoption from foster care and to find adoptive homes for the more than 600 Massachusetts’ children who wait.
